SZR - awful muffled voice, sounds like singing thru her nose & with a gumshield in.
Yep. Watching this on the iplayer UHD stream and it just sounds broken. How can Glastonbury come from Dua Lip and Coldplay headliners and end up with this?
The sound has been dodgy on the Pyramid all weekend, but I think that's been monitoring issues. This just sounds over processed, maybe it's meant to sound like that?
Anyway Justice are on now, going to finish up with some banging French electro.

SZA sounds somewhat forgettable to me, not sure how many songs she's actually done, it just sounds like background music to me. Not sure about muffled but the vocal sounds digitised to me at times.
The coverage spent about 10 minutes introducing her as "She's household name, if you haven't heard of her...." and then went to to explain she's been around 10 years and made 2 albums. oh.
We have to appreciate that we're probably far from core audience But surely they could have found something a bit more interesting than shop music.

This is a rare miss when it comes to headliners. Flicked over a couple of times and admittedly I'm not familiar with her music at all, but the crowd says it all. Only people singing along are about 20. She just doesn't have the fan base here compared to the US I imagine (similar Spotify listeners to Dua fwiw).

I’m watching Avril Lavigne on I player ,I can’t help but think they dropped a b
k and should have had her headlining judging by the crowd participation and size.
I’d go along with that too, pretty much everyone you saw in camera shot was singing along word for word.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
The people that bought the albums in the early 2000’s are I imagine are the main demographic at Glastonbury now.
