Unfortunate enough to catch a bit of Shania Twain. Appreciate she has had voice issues, but most shocking was literally a baby being shaken in the crowd during feels like a woman… I’m all for people having fun, but hopefully at least their relatives will pick them up for it.
I saw that and could not believe it
+1
They should have been asked to leave. A kid of that age simply shouldn't be exposed to that sound pressure for fear of permanent damage.
In greater danger of dying from boredom with Coldplay in the background.

I'm going to sound like an old fart for saying this, but Glastonbury doesn't seem like the place that you'd take babies or kids to for me. I certainly wouldn't be taking either of my kids there anyway.

Has Janelle Monae been on TV yet? Think I've missed the only act I wanted to see!

I think it would be a hoot in many ways, and we've taken our daughter to smaller festivals when she was older, but you don't take a babe in arms up front like that. It's abusive.

She is fantastic! I’d never heard of her until I saw her superb set a few years ago,I’ve been a huge fan ever since. And in my opinion one of the most beautiful women in the world.

I reckon if you are unfortunate to be in the eyeline you’d miss a great deal on the stage.

Agree with all the above. She's done some TV/film work as well I think. Apparently she was one of today's best acts.

This has been brought up before, and as I understand it, they’re not as big an issue as you’d think when stood in the crowd?

Apparently on @ 17:45 and I was searching iPlayer for the set. It is on there but it’s a long scroll and it also has signed coverage. Whilst I appreciate the all-embracing Beeb providing such, the images of the signer getting their groove on at the same time is annoying.

Avril Lavigne was surprisingly good. A big slice of early 2000’s singalong pop/punk rock nostalgia.

Apparently it was reported crowds were out of the park into the campsites to see her.

Hannah Reid of London Grammar looks so different! She had problems with stage fright and - I think - fibromyalgia. Still the same amazing voice though. Wow! Great to see them playing Glastonbury.
