As a connoisseur... these were the tunes that moulded me:

Modern Day smasher - you'll need a serious sound system to appreciate these basslines. Heavy and clean. Just right.

Been away from the topic for a while due to family issues.

First big night out in a while. Was not a drum and bass or jungle tonight but it was packed out in the Mayfield tonight. 12,500 people, maybe a little bit more, you know know the score.

Reminded me of the sanctuary, it was an amazing production in Manchester tonight and with the missus blowing out and throwing up at around 9.30pm, i am sitting here and getting a bit sentimental for years gone by.

Here's a picture of the do anyway, mainroom.

Gonna post up a mello one for those still here, it's not junglist and it's barely mid 90s. You'll have to spare me the indulgence. Produced by a man who is now dead, may he rest in peace. The junglist DJs didn't touch it because it was done by a speedcore producer, DJ dougal dropped it at dreamscape 8 just before Swan-E came on.

I will get back on topic next week and dig out a few darkside gems.

This one goes out to the sister and brotherhood. Early 2000s Total Science remix of Doc Scott's NHS sounds like it's from the mid 90s

Nice! I'm sitting here with my Akai S1000 on, sampling old funk records, but you're putting me in the mood to load up an amen break!
