Why the hell did BBC cut the Streets then.
Mike spends 10mins bigging up the flag wave, then BBC cut it after he gets into the crowd do do it.
Good, all that twaddle about the flags was boring both at home and I’d imagine in the crowd too. Did he really expect every flag to be still whilst he clambered his way through the crowd?
He was great at the IOW festival last weekend!
Did a similar-but-different daft thing in the crowd, rambling very amusingly about how we were all going to have a good time: loved it!
He’s a chunky boy to be crowd surfing back, but he did it hehe

Where’s that then? The Picturedrome?
Yep

Just had a look and as luck would have it I can't see any mention. However The South are playing 30 November.

Coldplay really are boring.

I saw them years ago at Rock Werchter in Belgium. Chris Martin made some poorly-received jokey comments about Belgians and snide remarks about the fact that they should have been headlining.

REM followed them. They were headlining. Michael Stipe made a polite, indirect, putdown of Chris Martin and REM put on a (surprisingly)fantastic performance.

Sort of off topic. Just watching the bbc coverage. Why are there 10 red arrows?
9+ spare. Transiting to Bournemouth for a show, then from Bournemouth onto Southend Airport (for a show at Folkestone) tomorrow.
I didn’t think they were in Bournemouth at all this year as they are in Canada?
They went over my house about 8pm so were here and I am in Wimborne 10 miles from Bournemouth.
Saved me replying - live in Wimborne too.

We've seen them a couple of times this year, always using Bournemouth as a base.

I'm no fan but they were brilliant tonight.

I am just enjoying the whole thing, some stuff I can't deal with, some stuff I have really enjoyed. Coldplay were excellent as was Dua Lipa and I could not care if I didn't knw who they were bedore or thought I disliked them. Talent shines through.

Yeah, enjoyed that… not a Coldplay fan but they embody Glastonbury.

Yes, very sad indeed. BTTF is still up there as my favourite films. I think he’s been on stage with them before too. I’m guessing around ten years ago.

They had him there as Chris said he was an inspiration for them to start a band after seeing him in Back to the future.

I had a feeling he couldn’t see what was actually happening. Or he was having a Biden moment.

Good to see Michael Eavis too, even if age is clearly catching (caught) up with him.

Thought the same here, not sure he knew what was going on.
