i'm sure its been said already but Faith No More's version of War Pigs is much better than the original.
Big Sick Ugly Jim Martin holding his Tony Iommi Freak Flag high
Slight edit for completeness hehe

Definitely agree it was better than the original - but then FNM have a habit of this. Easy, This Guy's in Love with You and I Started a Joke were all far better than the original version.
yes 100% this.

Criminally under-rated band by the mainstream. Some brilliant musicians and songwriters (not least Billy Gould) plus Mike Patton's energy and astounding vocals...fking range on that chap! clap

I bailed out on Download the other weekend due to weather and feeling pretty rough...have a nasty feeling that would've been my last chance to see Mike*... frown
(last time I saw them was also at Download...forget if the first or second 'reunion', but they were all wearing raspberry-red lounge suits, so think 2015. Stunning set.)

* Mr Bungle aren't really my thing, but I'd watch them just to see MP.

Yep with you on all of that chap - they're still my favourite band of all time and was lucky enough to see them in 1998 on the last tour they did before they broke up the first time at Wolverhampton Civic and it was a fantastic gig. I still remember Patton admonishing some poor guy in the front row for swearing, which was highly amusing considering it was in the middle of "The Gentle Art of Making Enemies".

Had tickets for them in 2021 when sadly they cancelled, but I still have faith they will be round again when they've all decided they don't hate each other again smile

Failing that Patton might do his own tour where he just does covers - I'd pay to see that as well!
