Paul Heaton has been the best up to now
Yes, superb. Norman's still got it and I feel for anyone in Jackie Abbot's spot but the young Dolly did very well.

Dexys was a highlight as well. Rowland is a genuine artist.

Hell yes. I saw a brilliant quote from her the other day:

"I ain’t going to give up. Every time you think I’m one place, I’m going to show up someplace else. I come prehated. Take your best shot."

Not sure how long the Idles set will be available on iPlayer… wink
They certainly won't be selling the BluRay in Highgrove that's for sure
R2 played Never Fight A Man With A Perm last weekend, had never heard of Idles before but that track is brilliant.

All that money and Cyndy Lauper can't afford a belt.

Looking forward to The Last Dinner Party in an hour.

There's more going on for me on The Other Stage rather than Pyramid for me this year. 15:00 to 21:00 tomorrow on The Other Stage looks really good!

Paul Heaton plays fairly regularly at a tiny venue near me. The Beeb could have saved 000000s and just sent a crew to Holmfirth. Similarly Dexys. Glasto is underwhelming this year and I think the Beeb's coverage reflects that.

Enjoying Cyndi Lauper, even if she is getting the 'Paul McCartney free pass' from me. Today in particular is not an overly strong line-up is it?

Now she's warmed up her voice has got a lot stronger, I think - which was where Sir Paul suffered in '22, sadly.

The line-up is pretty poor in general but today particularly so.

Anyone else noticed that she has Deirdre Barlow on backing vocals?

Need to give them another try, everyone raves about them live but I struggle with the yelling “singer”

Orbital, Bloc Party and Disclosure on my watch list today

The Sugar Babes' band were on another level, particularly the drummer. Unlikely to hear a tighter, more talented band this weekend.

I am struggling with the over the top political nonsense.

I wish one of these bands would be really edgy and avoid the politics completely.

Keane are brilliant
No need for a light show, dancers or anything like that

Lots of crown interaction but no politics

Just great songs that the crowd can sing along to
