AC/DC at Wembley in July. Saw them first time in '79 at the Apollo, utterly amazing. Saw them 40 years later at The Etihad (Axl Rose singing), and left before the end. Shall I bother? Maybe not which is odd because i still listen to them more than any other rock band.
I always regret not going to see them on the black ice tour, so think I’ll be booking tickets for Wembley, although it’s a 4 hour drive there as they are only doing London in the UK by the looks of it. wal 45 said:

Just one so far, Warrington Runcorn New Town Development Plan in Bethnal Green in Apr. Venue looks good and the 2 gigs of his I've seen so far this year have been excellent.
Just booked Alessandro Cortini at the Barbican, always love that venue too.Dreadzone and The Orb: Southampton, April
Blancmange: Southampton, June
Air: Southampton, June
Chameleons: Shepherd's Bush Empire in December.

Yes that's it I think. My current thinking is I'd rather spend the money on Pearljam, if I can get tickets. wal 45 said:

I always regret not going to see them on the black ice tour, so think I’ll be booking tickets for Wembley, although it’s a 4 hour drive there as they are only doing London in the UK by the looks of it. Main Pitch Standing : £129.25
Front Pitch Standing : £145.75
Seated Ticket : £74.25 - £162.25
Aisle Seated Ticket: £107.25 - £173.25
Seated Ticket - Limited View - £63.25 - £96.25
Then chuck on Ticketmasters fees.
First seated tickets offered were block 142 (lower tier), so going of the seating plan would have been first full block right of stage - £162, second option middle tier block 212, so far end opposite stage - £162
I'll take a look at the resale market a few weeks before.

ABC at the Liverpool Philharmonic next week.
Paul.weller at Scarbourgh outside in July
I'd like to see Theatre of Hate and Spear of Destiny, who i have never seen, but have been into since the early 80s but the only gig I can see in 2024 is in London at the 100 club, and I'm not that arsed to travel that far south for any reason.
The last gig I went to.was Jesus and Mary chain at Coventry Poly in 1986.
Or maybe it was The London Beat in the Biko bar in the same building. I think 16 people were in the audience.
Went to see Martin Fry, ABC and the South Bank Orchestra on Thursday. I was definately the youngest in the audience. Wife loved it. I thought it was a pleasant evening. But wife happy, so money well spent. Paul.weller at Scarbourgh outside in July
