Good stuff zb smile

As you've blurred the boundaries, here's one that I remember Colin's Dale playing a fair bit in his outer limits show; progressive/tranceish:

Another one here I don't think has had much of a mention but was right at the leading edge of Trance blowing with up in the late 90

Who doesnt have memories of going off your head to this one be it in a proper club or the local up town meat market?

Another one of those labels I have probably got most of the releases on 12" is Additive I think they were an offshoot of Positiva but they had a bit of a diverse selection

Some highlights

Talking of driving, on my regular runs up north there's nothing quite like a good 2hr mix for the section north of ferrybridge, heading into the big emptiness of the Pennines. Nothing on the road really, my first trip was in lockdown and it was pretty weird, just me, the lane markers whipping away on the rear view and the beats.

Charlotte de Witte's essential mix last year is a stand out, not really trance but utterly relentless.

Not sure if this has been posted yet. One of my faves to get the juices flowing on a summer's day drive...

Sadly Dash Berlin made a big drive to pop-trance/cheese and produced some real fluff. 2007 was a great year for trance though.

The girls have the techno scheme scene nailed. De Witte, nina and Amelie Lens all brilliant especially Lens. Throwback to the days at the Orbit!

Released in 2008 and still a fave...

(The intro seems a little superfluous and 'tacked on' but it was the best version I could find)

edit: And another fave from the same period...

There was a time when Additive were the king of the hill, and almost every release was an absolute banger. I once went to HMV and bought 'Der Dritte Raum - Hale Bopp' blind because I knew it would be good. I was not disappointed and I'm on the look out for it again now (at a reasonable price!)
