I'm (amongst other things) a director of a community focussed coffee shop in my local town, and we need to look at getting some decent photography done. Internal isn't the issue, but externally, what considerations do we need to take into account?

If a shot was taken on a busy day, with a long exposure, so the people moving outside were blurred, is permission needed?

No, even if unblurred you still don't need permission.

Actually I quite like the 'blurred pedestrian' effect; I think it throws more attention onto the shop behind.

I was going to post a link to one I took of Timberland in Regent Street but my site appears to be on the blink...

You don't need any permission.

I like the blurry pedestrian shots too, gives the impression of time passing with the coffee shop remaining a constant, if that makes sense?
