Good Restaurant in Farnborough

Hi,

I am arranging a few dinners for clients in Farnborough (we are attending an Exhibition at Farnborough Airport).

Other than the Aviator Hotel I am struggling to find any nice locations. Are ''Crab and Anchor' or 'Manhattan' reasonable?

- Type of Cuisine not important
- Price not really important
- Needs to be in Farnbourgh town rather than out in the sticks.

Any help much appreciated.

There is a nice curry house "Zaffron" just off the clockhouse roundabout.

There is also a very cheap buffet chinese "Real China" a bit further down. Bit pikey, but good food selection.

Haven't been to the Crab & Anchor for a few years, but it used to be very good.

I also like the Foresters, but it depends how good you want?

There is a Chinese that I used to take clients to, Wings I think.

Having reread your post, crab & anchor isn't in Farborough town and Foresters is even further out, Wings is close to Aviator so presumably that is within your range.

Used to work opposite the C&A. It is ....ok. Depends where you are staying, as above it isn't "town" but out towards the airport behind Morrisons !

Mostly we used to go for a nepalese curry (lots of ex-Gurkhas about), or eat in the hotel.

P.s I didn't work in Morrisons !

Why would you leave the Aviator and mix with the great unwashed of Farnborough?

Either eat in one of the Ghurka places or go to Fleet, there's a couple of decent places on Fleet high Street.
