Hi,
I'm taking 10 colleagues from all over Europe out for a curry in London tomorrow night, but I don't know which one of the many indian restaurants to take them to.

Any PH'ers have any suggestions on where is good?

I checked this place:
http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/restaurants.php

and came up with:
Dehli Brasserie
or Cafe Mumbai

Are these ok?

I would suggest Veeraswamy just off Regent Street; the oldest Curry House in the UK.

The Dehli Brasserie on Frith Street has always been good (first went their twenty five years ago).

Omg! Just looked at the prices! And I can't see poppadums on the menu. This better be worth it!

Veeraswamy is good but if you want the best curry in London and can manage an extra 30 minutes to get across to the City go to Lehore Kebab House on Commercial Road. It's BYOB and pretty basic but the food is amazing...loads of celebs go in there on their nights off. Not at all pompas and amazing food.

J

PS Make sure you get the lamb chops!!
