Which Nespresso Machine

I know some people on PH have nespresso machines, so i'm seeking your advice. I am adding one to my list to Santa but i'm not sure which one to go for.

I've had a look today in John Lewis and i've discounted the Magimix Essenza on the basis that I can only use something the size of an espresso cup with it. A shame because JL were giving a £30 credit on your nespresso account for future coffee purchases if you bought one of those.

Which then leaves me with the Citiz on the basis I can use something bigger to drink out of. Has anyone bought one of these, if you have did you get the one with the aeroccino?

It has an adjustable 'shelf' so you can use a large coffee cup as well as a small one.

I've gone with the seperate Aerocinno as it means I can heat milk for other things.

Thanks for that. Interesting that the promotion in store is slightly different. That machine didn't come with the £30 credit, it came with a £50 JL voucher.

That's the one I was thinking of. Instore in cream it is £179 and comes wither the £50 I mentioned above.

I have a couple of older ones with a milk frother arm, would go for the one that froths milk automatically now because the aeroccino can't go in the dishwasher and it doesn't get the right milk consistency for me.

The one you can get now is a de longhi and the wrong side of £200, mine are Krups and Magimix but both discontinued now unfortunately as the one I have in Oxford is on its last legs after 3 years of daily use

Looks good, just not sure i'm ready to spend that on one, until I really knew I was going to make use of it. So I think it will be a Citiz with the aeroccino.

Roughly £16 for 50 capsules which reminds me, I really must order some more

you order them in sleeves of 10 capsules each - each sleeve costs between £3.10 and £2.70 (thus 27p -> 31p per coffee). Postage is extra.

..with the minimum order being 5 sleeves.

Fab, I'm just now trying to work out which promotion is best.

From what I can tell I can buy the cream Citiz instore at JL for £179 with the aeroccino. They will give me a £50 JL voucher on any Citiz Machine.

If I buy it online I can get a claim form for Nespresso's own promotion, which would get me £40 in Club Credit.

I'm wondering if I will be able to print off that claim form and still get the credit? I'm guessing not but I'd have nothing to loose in giving it a try.

I've just registered with the club and I saw that. It looks to be about £70.00

All I can now hope is that santa does bring me one now

and I just noticed their special December editions of Caramel, Vanilla & Almond capsules - that's 3 days for that £70 order to arrive

Hope you do get one as they are very good...
