I have to have a "Ruby Murray" every week (on average), either take-away or home-made, if not I get serious withdrawal symptons. Are the PH "massive" also be big curry fans?

....yup Tescos are not that bad....passable.

I will be down to Spicy King for my take-away in a couple of hours....but what to have? I have been mulling it over all day and think it will be a Lamb Madras or perhaps Vindaloo with a Tarka Dhal and Pillau rice, plus a chapati (sp).....oh yes....I am ready.....smile

We usually have a couple of currys a week. After moving out of London I have failed to find a decent curry house so we make our own.

Magic fast food.

Keep a few naans in the freezer, toppings - pasta sauce, mozarella, peperoni etc. - in the fridge, and Robert's yer mother's brother.

Our local delivery takeaway went a bit "off message", so my diet improved to the tune of one grease curry a week. We have since been getting about one a month from a very good place, but it doesn't deliver so it's (luckily biggrin ) not that convenient.

However, Digga senior and Ma were dog-sitting for us this weekend and were guinea pigs for a new delivery curry house. It was, apparently, very good, so we may well be back to 3 or 4 per month.

Despite my user name, I hardly ever have ham. I do however eat at least 3 or 4 curries every week - typically a variety of SE Asian rather than your typical Indian (which I also love) and nearly always home made from scratch. No bought-in sauces/packets. I grow my own chillies and use them liberaly.

Does help that we have lived in SA Asia a fair bit, that Mrs HH is a chef, and I'm a keen cook.

They're OK but not as good as:
A decent restaurant/take away which can be beaten by:
Homemade curry. Which is beaten by miles by:
A proper authentic meal made by Indian/Pakistanis using recipies handed down through the generations!
