egg and bacon pie

Been online trying to find someone selling home made egg and bacon pie. you know the sort that mother used to make, 2 inches thick, and pastry that semtex would have trouble with. Looked on various 'ye olde world' farm shop sites without luck, anyone know anywhere.....cheers Tom.

I remember these home made treats. Chunks of bacon (ham hock) and egg in what was basically a quiche lorraine with a pastry lid.

i did come across some recipes for it while i was looking, looks like the only way to go. this could be my last post due to food poisoning.
