Anyone got any suggestions? Really struggling to find somewhere good and chapter one is fully booked as usual ( no surprise there )

I always liked Dillingers in Hays. Not sure if they serve Sunday lunch though.

Or there's a Maccy Ds and a TGI Fridays near to Chapter One.

Try Edwards on East St (near Bromley North), it's fantastic.

Another option is the Pickhurst on Pickhurst Lane, good carvery if you don't mind all the chavs....

Dillingers is always choker block and that TGI's is a Frankie and Bennies.

Ferrari's on East Street is very nice. The Bull in Chislehurst. I have heard good things about Don Giovanni's on Homesdale Road. Belgo outside the Glades. Pierre Luigi's in Beckenham

Chapter One is a Michelen Star restaurant - you won't find anything equal nearby.

Foxes Brassarie on Chislehurst High street is nice. Belgo at the Glades is nice. Cafe Rouge is nice. Monos in east street is nice (if it's still there). But none of them are fine dining.

Ferraris is actually OK - Edwards is a bit up its own bum. What's the name of the gastropub at Sundridge Park which gets consistently good reviews - that must be worth a punt?

The Crown.

Used to be the worst pub you could imagine, a real flea pit. Then it got shut down and changed. Haven't eaten there yet though.

Mello in Beckenham is probably not a bad shout if you want a bit more of a fayne dayning arrangement.

ETA - Try Westerham if its not too far out, San Bas and Rendezvous are closer to Chapter One in terms of food, (European and French) but if you're feeling Italian, Napoli E is outstanding. Plus a couple of decent pubs to have drink in.
