Bologna - recommendations?

My trusty old Michelin Italia 1992 highlights I CARRACCI and NOTAI and they are central.
If they are still going after the best part of 20 years they must have something going for them.
I haven't been in either.
I've been to Italy a lot and have not been very impressed with "posh" restaurants. Personally I find you are treated like second class citizens, especially if there is a local social event going on.
I find mid-range better and the food,although perhaps not as fancy, is probably superior.
Having said that,overall I have always found this Michelin Italia very good indeed.
