Had the displeasure of drinking some lately - not very nice, is it?
Looks like piss in the bottle - has some taste but feels weak...girly drink almost frown

Similar to coors light I thought, so I actually quite like it.

Plus, normal bud is rank rotten.

I tried the Original version a while ago - seems there's more choice now.

Used to sell that at the club I worked at.. No one would drink it as they'd never heard of it.

They were missing out, it's one of the better tasting pilsners out there. What was the best seller, Carling / Stella / Fosters et al?

Yep.

Stella in Bottles (Well, VK and all those alcopop stuff was best selling) then on Tap was Fosters.

All horrible.

For the punters not to have heard of Budvar implies they must have all been fizzy pop drinking 15 yr olds. Who can only get into nightclubs with names like Ritzy.

Exactly the same as Stella 4, Becks Vier et al.

One level up from cooking lager - Fosters, Carling, etc

Wouldn't use it to wash dishes frankly.

My fave fizzy beers are from Germany and Czech republic, Pilsner Urquell and Staropramen being two.

I also have a thing for imported Heineken, beats the UK brewed draft version into a cocked glass.

The UK, even though it produces gallons of yellow piss, and consumes it as well, just doesn't seem to want or get quality lager.

Not many places have anything different from the norm, I'm lucky enough to have a local club with Bitburger on draught, at £3 a pint, cheap for round these parts! Until recently there was one with Warsteiner but alas that has now changed due to change of owners, it used to be very popular though.

Yeah, a nightclub usually has youngesters in it?

The only people who drunk Budvar were the older men who had probably tried it previously.
