Nespresso Capsules

Having bought a Nespresso Coffee machine this evening I'm starting to wonder if they follow the printer philosophy of selling the equipment very cheaply and profiting from the cartridges/capsules with the exception of not selling the machine cheaply!

Is it possible to buy the capsules from anywhere else other than Nespresso (Nestle)?

However the most expensive is 31p I think. I don't think that's exactly robbery for coffee which tastes great and is so quick and easy to prepare.

Delivery from nespresso.com is very quick too. I always choose the cheaper 3-5 day 'standard' option, however 9 times out of 10 the capsules arrive next day.

Selfridge's in London has a Nespresso concession and they have the occasional offer. They do the range of cups and accessories too.

I joined 'Club Nespresso' and find it very good indeed.

We always buy in bulk as well, saves quite a bit.

I too am a club member. Thing is, the bloody in-laws quaff most of mine when they visit.

look on youtube for the pikey videos of people refilling the capsules with their own grinds, and putting foil over top. Its pathetic lol

I have a nespresso and am a member as they said it gets me good deals - haven't really payed any attention to it otherwise. Is it cringeworthy?

I like that too. However for me a big plus about Nespresso is that the coffee stays fresh in the capsule.

I like to have a few blends to choose from, which would otherwise go stale as I wouldn't use the coffee quickly enough.

The Club Nespresso website (and mailshots) are utter toss though.

Ohhh I like the look of the coffee duck...I'm too tight to buy Nespresso capsules and that has put me off buying the machine...
