Latest "bad for you" burger from the USA

Well a burger establishment in the USA (naturally) called Friendlys has come up with something a little different.

It's called Friendly's Grilled Cheese Burger Melt. And instead of the bun, or indeed more pieces of meat they are using 2 toasted cheese (US rubberised processed cheeselike substitute no doubt) sandwiches.

One Burger Melt has 1,500 calories, 79 grams of fat, 2090mg of sodium and 101 gram of carbs. That's nearly triple the amount of the Double Down.

Doesn't look too bad compared to the stuff I've been eating whilst out there for work.

I had for breakfast deep fried chicken in a burger bun which was then covered in cheese sauce, with bacon and hash browns for good measure. Nom nom nom.

That picture in the OP looks utterly foul, especially the Homepride and Kraft slice melted butties on the outside - it reminds me of the pictures on the menu in Wimpey in the 70's.
