Anyone else likes Tia Maria?

I appreciate it's more of a girly drink (perhaps) and I'm not a big liqueur drinker but couldn't help picking up a bottle yesterday.

I loved it - very sweet, smooth with wonderful coffee notes. Maybe because I like coffee that much?

Almost half of the bottle gone, sat down in the garden and enjoyed it.

tia maria = kahlua by another name no?

agree, scrap the coke. used to drink black russians all the time when i was in my early teens. 3 parts vodka to 2 parts kahlua as i recall.

I make my lovely Tiramasu (SP?) with Tia Maria in the coffee and also i mix a way too generous amount of Tia Maria in the cream/mascapone mixture.....yummy!
