how much coffee goes into a filter?

Just dug out my old coffee making machine, Krups. I have a 1x4 filter, but i can't remember how much coffee needs to go in there and i can't find the manual.
Do i put 4 teaspoons of coffee in the filter or is it less?

just go to starbucks, will be easier

They came with a measuring spoon, one of those per cup.
If you lost it I would say 4 tea spoons per cup.
If you want your coffee stronger just add more.

Nearest one is about a 10 min drive, to Bluewater.

I add 4 table spoons, 5 if I want it stronger.

7 grams of coffee per cup is the average.

Just experiment - 4 tablespoons sounds a bit excessive for one cup.

Welcome to the dark side.

The filter paper and cone method makes the best-tasting coffee, and it's a darn sight easier and cheaper than fannying around with kitchen jewellery espresso machines. I use two heaped measuring spoons per cup.

I fill mine up to the 8 cup mark and put three desert spoons worth in.
