Any suggestions for a pleasant Thames-side (or near) bar around the Charing Cross area? It's a first date scenario, some pleasant drinks before dinner in Piccadilly, so nothing too rowdy or noisy would be good!

Many thanks!

The Tattershall castle is well worth a visit, is a boat moored on the Thames with a very pleasant (weather permitting) outside deck.

Most of the bars around there are tourist/B&T traps (Motion etc.). Can't go wrong with Gordon's if you can find a space to sit/stand.
