Basilica in Westbourne was very good food when went this week...good atmosphere as well

Pebble Beach in Barton-on-sea. Michelin starred and excellent. 20mins from B'mouth.

Ph Mods: why move this here where fewer people are going to check this thread and certainly far fewer people that have dined out in bournemouth, that could post recommendations? It woould surely get a larger and better quality response in the south coast forum...

Have been underwhelmed by Basilica, although that maybe the weekday lunchtime thing. Although better than many places in Westbourne, Chez Fred excepted

As per the wiki, The Westbeach http://www.west-beach.co.uk/ is very good. The fish is simply done, and often from the bay, and the cooking spot on.

The Print Room in Bournemouth centre.

Very good food, very good decor, very good prices.

Myself, freinds and family have eaten there on many occasions (both together and seperate), and it's always been a good experience.
