Frozen Zubrowka
Discussion
I saw this in makro on friday, haven't had it in ages!
Got it home, chucked it in the freezer. went back 3 hours later to pour a drink and it was feckin frozen!
So my freezer is obviously too cold.
Here's the question, is it going to be OK to drink? I've drunk beer which has been frozen and it was feckin awful...

might be down to the strength/alcohol level, Got it home, chucked it in the freezer. went back 3 hours later to pour a drink and it was feckin frozen!

I have put Smirnoff red and Stolnichya in the freezer at the same time and the Smirnoff froze but the Stoly was still fluid
Just transfer it to the fridge section to thaw
It should have no effect on the taste, unlike beer that gets frozen. I think its to do with the gas in the beer, sort of loses its fizz and tastes kinda flat,
Dunno what voltage Zubrowka is, but the higher the volts the more resistant vodka is to freezing (water freezes before alcohol which is why German Eisbier such as EKU28 is fearsomely strong as the beer is frozen during fermentation and the ice removed to concentrate the liquor).
Or turn your freezer down
