I'm taking the missus there this evening. The new sommelier is a mate so decided to give it a go.
Anyone been and if not, what did you guys think of the the other GM places that you have been?

Been several times, and always enjoyed it. Haven't experienced Matt Pickop's cooking, but Verre's hallmark has always been consistency.

So who's the new sommelier?

Chap called Garth, the manager at Vintage @ Wafi previously (my lounge in reality - I spend more timein there than I do at home!).

Did a sterling job for us and the food was excellent.
