I'm going to an open air concert in July where you're encouraged to take a deckchair and your own beer. I went a few years ago and it was great; we filled a chill box with beer and food and relaxed in the sun. This year though they've decided to ban glass bottles...

Does anyone have any tips for decanting beer into a plastic bottle? Will it lost its fizz between lunchtime on a Friday when we leave and 11pm when the concert finishes?

Charles Wells do one. Or pop along to your local brewery and get a gallon jug. Or maybe 18 pints!!

Surely such a testament to middle classness should be attended with wine boxes?

smile On a hot summer's day over a period of 5 hours I'd be paralytic if I was drinking wine! I'd far rather have ice cold beers smile
