I tried these for the first time yesterday. Apart from the fact they are expensive, I thought they were quote nice but not amazing.

Are these the ones that you can by at Harrods? If so, they are the best ones I have ever tasted.

They're bloody nice but I don't understand the American approach of ordering a dozen, my wife had a modelling weight of around 7 stone and yet would think nothing of polishing off a dozen doughnuts whereas I, who weigh more than double that, would order one, maybe two if I was hungry.

For the record I had 3, however fair play to your wife.

The price is very off putting...

They are sold as a premium 'snack' in this country yet the Americans arean't overly keen on them as a nation. I was in Florida 2 months ago and they were selling a box of 12 for $4.

They're in all sorts of (financial) trouble in the US. Even (some) Americans have realised they can't carry on eating like they were.

Dunkin' Donuts is doing better. DD are a bit more coffee focused, which KK never really picked up on.

We have one just opened on the south coast and the local paper is doing a buy one dozen, get another dozen free coupon!! cloud9

We have found they don't go stale very quickly either. They are still edible a week after buying whereas normal douhnuts go rock hard in 24 hours.

The Bank I work for wanted to thank us for a week of hard work, so decided to get the Krispy Kremes in... (being a US bank)

So they ordered 100 donuts for the team, and arranged for them to be delivered.

The problem came when they worked out that my our office is not in London (they bought the donuts from Harrods), but in Bournemouth.

2.5 hours later, Harrods delivered the donuts to Bournemouth, probable cost £500??

Happy days smile

Australia has more and more of them

Really not a fan. Far too sweet and just have nothing imo, like eating sweetened cotton wool.

Processed Wank as far as im concerned vomit...

Not a patch on those salty ,sugary ,fat arsed, freshly fried donuts you can buy from a stall, at any summer Classic car show / Fairground , anywhere in the U.K yum.
