Rabbit - how shall I cook it?

I've aquired some Rabbit from my local butchers and i've got absoloutely no idea what to do with it, my initial idea was just to seal it and bang it in the slow cooker with a bit of red wine and a few vegetables.
Any other suggestions on recipes I can do with it or how to make a decent stew out of it?

Have a hunt though the yellow pages for your local firearms dealer. Ask him to ask people that shoot rabbit to supply you with some.There's plenty of folks that go shooting do it for pest control and its normal to shoot a dozen or more rabbit a week. There's always plenty of people that shoot regularly that will gladly sell what they've shot for £1 each. You'll have to learn to skin and gut them but that's an easy task.
Jamie at Home did a good rabbit recipe the other night
Rabbit quartered then in pan with softened onions etc
then add wine/stock & veg, poach gently 20 min IIRC then dust with flour dip in egg then roll in Breadcrumbs....(the bits of rabbit.not you). and deepfry till crisp and brown. looked (and sounded) brilliant.
