Left some raw lamb out of the fridge for two days. It's still in its packet, and is brown on about half of its outside, the rest is still red. Is this any good to eat, both from a taste and health perspective? My guess is it won't do any harm to eat it but don't want supper ruined.

Throw it away. It'll taste horrible at best.

Open it and smell it. If you don't like the smell of it then don't eat it. Can almost guarantee you won't like the smell if it is going brown.

Admittedly probably wouldn't do you any harm, but I wouldn't risk it two days before Christmas.

I prefer pink to brown, tastes much better IMO.

I always go on the smell of something, not the look. If it smells wrong it's definitely wrong.
