...recipe, and getting one back in return. Floats my boat.

How about a food forum then. Pretty please? The fire stoking caveman in me demands a dedicated forum in which other wooden spoon monkeys can gather around the virtual campfire to discuss BBQ's, wine, and good old fashioned recipes. Oh yes and spit roasts.

Im quite sure it would be more popular than the zolder, gilburn, and Herts, Beds & Bucks North Wales forums hehe I dont think North Wales is even a real place scratchchin Anyway, its not as if we only cook on full moons, bar mitzvah's and at sacrificial ceremonies rolleyes (or whatever you go to most often).

And it would attract more women to PH too, simultaneously luring vixpy away from the P&P, making PH a safer place for us all.

Id love to, but Id also like to keep this thread "relatively unlocked" in the hope that enough kitchen junkies will back up my request and we'll be granted a food forum, from within which, we can discuss spit roasts and allsorts biggrin

Lick those lips like youve never licked them before, throw open your windows and sing to the world, sing people, for all you are worth, because all the splendid goodness of an incredible food forum is coming to pistonheads for FREEEE, ooohhh yes, tell your families and your families families and throw entire joints of delicious sumptuous meat to your pets because we should ALL celebrate the glorious triumph of oral delight (and cooking) oh yes!

I'd be very happy to see a food forum... perhaps we could call it Food 4 Thort or something equally inane.

It's gotta be a good way forward expanding the appeal of this site.

What about the patio doors?

Seriously though ... a "food and fine wine" forum would be very civilized. smile

Got a few good quick recipes (garlic chilli chicken is a fave) - but would love to share others.

And I'm sure there's loads of ladies on here who love a good gobble!

Humm. I don't even know how to turn the cooker on - though with PH I managed to cook a joint of beef.
