Doesn't seem to be a recent thread on this, looking for suggestions for a posh Sunday roast fairly central / great room.

Wolsely Picadilly is booked up for the date in question, Wolsely City is available must be pretty good?
Ritz not sure what their Sunday menu is?
Claridges looks to have bumped up their prices to fairly silly levels.
Dorchester way too many Americans et al.

A bit old fashioned is fine, the Kings Cross restaurant has been great before?

Goring a bit pricey but available, worth it?

Simpson’s reopens next month… depending on what you like (and what they’ve done to the place) that would be a good option?

We had a great Sunday Lunch at The Arlington (on Arlington Street, just behind The Ritz) and not silly money either...

It is, it has a sort of 50's vibe but very nicely done, really liked everything (the place, the service and the food). Feels far more expensive than it actually is.
And I know it's not really a Sunday Lunch thing, but the Steak Tartare was fabulous!

How about The Guinea Grill in Mayfair?

Setting suitably fusty.
