Anyone been to Fallow recently? I’ve seen a few YouTube videos and we are off to Canada Wharf next weekend and was thinking of booking a table for Sunday Lunch ? Is it worth it ?

Thanks, I was probably going to try the Terrace or Bar area.

I’m going tomorrow lunchtime

Planning to have. Corn ribs, beef ribs and cod head or maybe pig head.

Is the cod head enough for 2 people?

Not on its own! That’s it above in the orange sauce above-lovely as everything I’ve ever had there is.

We dined with small plates however, rather than the (very reasonable) set menu, so think of it like tapas and order according to your appetite.

I think you’ll want at least two “main” plates, a couple of nice to haves, a couple of sides and maybe a salad etc, then dessert if you like.

We let the sommelier pick wine by the glass but their second choice of a very light red was so delicious we stayed with it until the end.

It’s a great place, still one of my favourites and their lessons on YouTube really help the home cook. It’s interesting sitting at the kitchen-there’s still some chefs that were there from when I first ever visited.

I went to London in March specifically to go to Fallow for breakfast. I really wanted the Steak Royale but their breakfast menu changes quite a lot, so that was off the menu but they had a lamb kofte version which was spectacularly good.

Planning another trip, probably at the end of the month.

10/10 was worth every penny. Corn ribs are mega. Cod head was nice as a novelty but wouldn't order it again. Barnsley chop 10/10 and also an amazing burger. We went a little overboard but can't wait to return.

Very good lunch. Ordered the corn ribs, beef ribs and cods head. Would have all again. Had celariac boulangere as a side, it was delicious

For lunch that was enough for two of us.

Not too silly price wise at £83.80 including service charge, charity donation. We only had soft drinks though.

No vloggers in sight, it was pretty busy, but we only booked 1 week in advance and secured a table in the bar
