Ideas for a spare bit of topside.
Discussion
After buying too much beef for a chunky chilli gathering, I now have about a KG of uncooked topside left over. I don’t want to do the usual and roast it. I’m looking for some ingenious suggestions as to what to do with it. Only caveat it has to be easy, and either a quick cook, or an all day slow thing.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

James Tanner made a soy glazed beef cheek dish on James Martins Saturday morning show recently. Few similar recipes around with different beef cuts for slow cooking.

A little closure, and apologies for the late reply. I ended up with doing the massaman, and it was wonderful.Cut the beef into large chunks for a slow cook, and it was melt in the mouth, and picked up the flavours nicely. It was so well received, that we made it again this weekend. Thanks for all the useful suggestions.
