The Connaught Bar- Walk in possible on a Saturday evening?

I walked in with friends at about 6pm Thursday evening, waited literally 5 mins and were shown to a table. They said Thursdays and Fridays are their busiest days, but make of that what you will.

Other people have told me they waited about 15-20 mins on a Saturday.

Worth it though. The bar is spectacular.

Usually not a problem but if it is then Claridges, the Dorchester and 45 Park Lane are not far away or quick cab to the Savoy
