Whiskey appreciation thread

I couldn’t find a semi regular contribution thread for whiskey so thought maybe I can start one.

I’d say in the last 8 years really appreciated single malt and have a love for MacAllan and have a 18 & 12 in the cupboard waiting for me to retire and some more regular jonnie walker / glenfiddich I’m supping day to day.

Wondered what others like and found they’ve enjoyed recently?
