Eating out in Manchester city

More biased towards quality food, especially fish, rather than glitz. Located in the trendy Northern Quarter, if that helps.

Its a food court with loads of different foods from different stalls around the outside. I've not been to this one but they run the same thing in Altrincham and that's really good and looks like it has the same stalls. If you want pizza/steak and a roast it's all good.
Good vibe, not glitzy, shared benches/tables.

Not ridiculous but having been a couple of times it was nice.

Vikingette1 went to one in London with her friends. She was a vegetarian/pescatarian and came out a fully fledged meat eater! Not been yet but I’ve booked Blacklock for their Sunday roast based on this video that was filmed in their London branch.

Quite near to where you are there is a fantastic cocktail bar called Schofields.

Hawksmoor isn't far from there either.
