.
Does anyone remember when cream eggs were available months after Easter, being sold cheaper in pound shops and service areas.
They were also available all year round for a year or so
This year for the second year running I have been trying to find some cream eggs a few days before Easter and failed.

Probably nanny-state/fear of litigation. See also Sugar Tax/Coco Pops etc.
Some feckless excuse of a parent sues the company because their kids get fat after feeding them solely on Creme Eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cadburys was bought out by Kraft (i think) they changed the recepy for the chocolate from cadburys milk chocolate to cheap chocolate. They now taste worse. You either have a very large family, run a corner shop or have incredible self-control.
Me, I'd rather pay a pound for a single one. Safe in the knowledge that the damage is limited. If I had 48 I'd eat them all. Probably one after the other.

(I’d end up having a damn good go at the box too…)
