Going from Nespresso to Lavazza - Risk?
Discussion
Anyone gone from Nespresso to Lavazza?
So my trusty Nespresso pump has died after 8 years and the choice of traditional machines is limited and expensive.
After they discontinued the blue lungho I went to Starbucks house blend which I like. But not love.
A Lavazza with frother is on offer at £85 Amazon and I’ve bought the lungho pods.
Fingers crossed

We bought a Nespresso Vertuo in lockdown but got bored of the prices. We’ve experimented a bit and the best results have been from an old Vertuo pod with a reusable silicon cover filled with Lavazza espresso. It’s the best compromise between speed of production (between Teams meetings), taste and cost. Cheap as chips and my teenage mob have agreed it’s better than the Vertuo pods. I’m sure a proper espresso machine would be better but we get good crema every time. Doesn’t answer your question but in case anyone else reads…
