On pepper mills (never had a problem with a salt one) I've had issues with too many recommended ones due to the gap for the corns to drop in to the grinding part being too restrictive with a result of being slow for lots of grinding else being blocked by a couple of corns trying to enter at once. Based on a recommendation here I went with a WMF Trend Spice Mill and have never looked back since. It is superb.

We've got Le Creuset ones and they are far and away the best one's we've had.
I was never happy with ours, wanted Peugeot based on reviews on here but was trumped by the boss as they matched the kitchenware. Switched to Peugeot in December and the difference is night and day would highly recommend the switch. https://www.einrichten-design.co.uk/en_gb/pepper-m...
Apologies for the massive link.
I've been through had a few mills and had a Le Cruset mill for about 10 years then it stopped working.
The Skeppschult is a Swedish mill and is made from a heavy lump of cast iron. Mine was about £75. the link above has one at £65 reduced from £85. As the le cruset is now about £40 this makes the Skeppschult a bargain as it has a 25 year guarantee and feels like it will outlast that easily! Should see me out.

The OXO brand ones are very good in my experience, as an added bonus there's always a PH worthy joke available.
Yeah, I use this: https://www.dunelm.com/product/oxo-softworks-peppe...
It has the added benefit of sitting the right way up .

Pepper Cannon.

Not cheap, but very good indeed. It is the first and only mill I’ve had that beats a Peugeot.

I am now watching the Youtube reviews...
Dammit. I'm going to spend £!75 on a pepper grinder aren't I.
