So Ive got a manual can opener, like this:



My left hand holds the handles, my right turns the spinny bit. Seems perfectly natural so far. However I'm left handed and I don't think that's a left handed tin opener. So I'm wondering why do some lefties not get on with these types apparently?

Because it's a right-handed opener, as is obvious from its position on the can.

Aren’t tins all easy pull open now ?

About the only thing we have in tins is beans , tomatoes and tuna

Tomato tins are, red kidney beans aren't.(Make chilli occasionally) Why? No idea.
