I'll be celebrating a birthday with a few days in Dublin in the next month, so looking for recommendations for places to eat.
It'll be a casual few days, so not looking for top end, michelin restaurants, but also, looking for something better than chain burger places and so on. Happy with any types of food, but preferably not Italian as we eat this regularly and fancy something different.
Thanks all.

Conor Mcgregor's pub serves some nice food, prices aren't stupid either .

When I lived there, and even though it is bang in Temple Bar... Elephant & Castle was legendary for their buffalo wings (with long threads on boards.ie speculating on the recipe...) The rest of the menu was decent too. However when I visited a couple of years ago the wings didn't seem to be what they used to be and to boot I was struck down with a serious case of D&V that night!

So... not sure how useful this post is.

Northside:
Brother Hubbard (North)
L Mulligan's

The Ramen Bar
Chilli Club
Sole

Camden St area:

Brother Hubbard

Usual advice.. avoid eating and drinking in Temple Bar.

Suggest avoiding the whole North city centre East of
O'Connell St. After dark.
