Christmas Eve takeaway
Discussion
We did it last year waited for absolutely ages as it was so busy . Then they delivered utter cr#p and we called them and they said they were too busy to do anything else . It rather spoilt the evening.
I think it's like going out on new year's eve , or a meal on valentine's day
Best avoid

We have a homemade ham and cheese quiche as theres left over egg yolks from making royal icing and the ham has been cooked and is available for eating.
could try eggnog to use up the yolks? I think i'll have a go this year, then make meringues with my leftover whites...I usually put together a big spread of tapas and smorgasbord type food, enough for about 10 people (just the two of us). Not sure what to do to this year as my wife has just started a course of weekly chemo/immuno therapy so we aren't feeling too Christmasy. I'm determined to do something.

This - every fker in the local vicinity will have the same idea and you'll be sat like a prize knob an hour after the expected delivery, hungry and probably too pissed up to drive and get something, only for some lukewarm tray of dog st to arrive.I think it's like going out on new year's eve , or a meal on valentine's day

Obvs different if it's round the corner and you walk there but you get my point.
You guys are saving me the ££ and talking me out of it.
