Ginger preserve, where has the good stuff gone?

Several years ago I bought a jar of ginger preserve from a local deli. It was superb, head and shoulders in gingery deliciousness above any other I've been able to find since. Stupidly I didn't note who made it and the deli closed soon afterwards.

It had chunks of ginger rather than the shredded bits I've found in every jar I've found since. Any Ideas, I really miss it.
