I do love a grapefruit, but my goodness, I feel like I need a shower after I have finished one. They are incredibly juicy and messy. Lovely though.

I miss grapefruit. My meds mean I can't have it any more frown

Ditto! frown

I missed it that much, I went to ask my GP if it would be really so bad if I was to have the occasional grapefruit. He told me it wouldn’t matter at all if I didn’t mind the increased risk of death!
Then the cheeky sod suggested I tried rhubarb as an alternative! The phrase, arse from elbow sprang to mind!

Ugli fruit is a great alternative, generally much less juicy and can be peeled and eaten like an orange.

...used to be popular but I've not seen them around for a while now

I'm another one who cannot have it due to the meds (blood pressure anyone?).

Really miss it, was my staple breakfast for years :-(
