Ok as i do my shopping once a week near one of these I have been using it for lunch after shopping has finished two meals for under a £10.
not bad at all smothered chicken with chips , coleslaw, garlic bread slice,small side salad, Haddock ,chips and peas all good portions, its cheaper than Mcdonalds.

Brewers fayre/Marston/Harvester are all much alike but my wife tends to prefer the Harvester because of the salad bar.The one to avoid however is hungry horse.If the one we have used is typical anyway.It was so bad that i took the trouble to write a review which was bad enough for the management to ask me to get in touch but i decided just to stay away as its not very convenient for us anyway.

There's another chain round here - they're all named <something> Farm. Sounds quaint, despite most of them being on or near retail parks or housing developments that probably used to be farms. Identikit food though.
