I know there’s another white wine thread but that seemed to soon drift to £25-£50 bottles. I’m sure they are amazing, but, in the same vein as the sub £10/bottle red wine thread, I thought we could do with one for whites.

We really enjoy a Sauvignon Blanc, but any other tasty whites under £10 a bottle?

Austrian & German wines offer good value: M&S Found Weissburgunder £9; most supermarket Grüner Veltliners are good, typically £7 to £9. Have enjoyed Aldi's and Morrisons' GVs.

Just over the border from Germany, Alsace whites (Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blancs) under £10 also good. Available most places.

I'm a big fan of English white.

It's not usually available for less than £10 but our old friend Aldi are doing Bowler and Brolly (naff name) English white for £8.99 which I wouldn't mind betting will be excellent. I've been too busy buying up their bargain reds of late that I've walked past the whites but I did pick up a 2019 Sancerre from Aldi last week for the bargain price of £6.99 - none left here unfortunately but you might be lucky?

They used to do Lyme Block English white from Dorset for the same price and that was excellent. Aldi must have a good buyer as their offerings usually impress.
