Double Yolkers
Discussion
I've just had a box of tesco large eggs, and 8 out of 10 were double yolkers! I've never even seen a double yolker before today let alone having this many in one box.
I've heard your more likely to see them from farm shops, but 8 out of 10 in a pack?!
They all looked slightly odd in the shell, slightly larger, thinner more brittle shell.

I sell those, I asked the supplier why ,apparently they come from
confused young chickens.
How does the farmer/supplier know they are doubles? Shine a light through it..?confused young chickens.
These ones are not sold in any supermarkets because of this.
