Anyone know about 'Exclusive Line' Knives?

Was out today and some one came in selling a load of these. Said that a supplier had gone bust and wanted rid of them so was getting rid of them for £30.

I got a set, 7 knives, one steel and one meet fork.

Just wondering if they are any good ir if I have just thrown £30 at him for nothing.

I imagine they normally sell for hundreds per knife, they certainly sound quite exclusive....

Yep caught a bit off guard really, well see how they perform when I use them tomorrow. If no good on e bay and see what someone else is willing to pay for them. My money is one about £9.99.

Got to be worth £1 per item in that holder thing.

Thirty quid isn't too bad, see if you can get an edge on it, you may be pleasantly surprised.

EDIT: and you cannot sell knives on ebay

Will give it a go, as said will try them out tomorrow and will let you know the outcome. Might just just fine a hacksaw in shed just in case!

Saw this under a different name a couple of years ago and then again a couple of years before with a different name. Each time the manufacturer was going bust and each time there was a legit website showing how expensive they were. So I think you fell for the fake sales patter. Even so that doesn't mean these are terrible they might be ok, just don't go down the pub and brag about how you got £600 knives for £30 like my mate did or you may end up feeling a bit silly.

Oh well. I will just add to the story and say that he was a well built company director with knives. Didn't feel safe saying no to him.

and you could take your own knives to parties to ensure you can nose the stilton

Oh no, would never do something as bad as that. Yes I may purchase knives out the back of a van but cut the nose of the Stilton. How dare you!
