You basically take a shot of beer/cider every minute for 100 mins. Sounds easy doesn't it? It isn't!

Completed it many times at university, usually for charity. Random additions of cold beans/raw egg/pickled onions to add a bit of variety.

I don't think doing it after a curry helped to be honest! It's weird that 4 and a half pints in 1hr 40 mins is no trouble but doing it in shots is so much harder?!

35mm Film camera cases are used when in LeMans iirc that equates to approx 6.5 pints

And yes been completed by quite a few in our group smile

Some have raised the bar slightly wink

ETA: there are a few more rules....

I'm game, just no raw egg. The results when we come into contact, are erm, explosive.

Yep, just over six and a half pints if using old fashioned 35mm film caps!!

And yes, the bar has been raised, but don't think you'll be raising it any more Del, Del, Del!!!

I will not be trying smile Either for the one with normal fluid consumption during the day or the one assisted by a days dehydration wink

used to do it all the time at uni whilst watching football etc. it's not too hard if your in the mood. I have however seen;

a mate do a triple one,
same mate do every 10th vodka
a girl do wine, she got to about 45 and died
another mate throw up after 17.

Done this a few times in Le Mans, very good fun.

Best bit was watching 'someone' puke after only 14 caps... biglaugh

Did this for my birthday last year, we did shots of beer with number 25 as vodka, 50 as whisky, 75 as white rum and 100 as champagne.

the trick: use a VERY VERY flat beer.

tried it with lager once, it was godawful after about 30, stomach cramps as the little shots fizz like crazy as you throw them back.

it was fine with ale.

As above.

When I were a fatter man, I completed it a few times using Boddingtons. In fact, it's relatively easy with something smooth and flat. Lager's a different story though. It's the fizz that defeats people, rather than the alcohol.

A few times. DIdn't think it was hard as people say. Most friends managed it as well. A Spartan on the other hand...
