Weird things you eat

Noticed there was a "weird things you drink" topic so figured, we could do with a food orientated one.

For me, it's raw potato. So many people act surprised by this...?

One of the nicest flavours, is that of an old potato, mostly in the middle of the potato. If I'm making mash, using 4 large old potatoes, I'll eat about half a skinned, raw potato.

I also know of someone who eats a whole jar of el del paso jalepeno's. Not that weird to eat jalepeno's, but I do find it strange he gets pleasure from eating an entire jar.

Anyone else have unusual tastes with food?

Orange peel. Peanut butter on toast with a can of baked beans on it.

Toast some bread, let it go cold, butter it and spread a thin layer of brown sauce on it. Lovely

Sugar sandwich. White bread, thickly buttered, sprinkled with sugar. Was a real treat when I was a kid

Also, give me a jar of glace cherries and I'm in heaven.

A school friend used to eat sugar on toast.

Still has better teeth than me the git!

coctails cherries are better.

i have been having them latley with my cocktails, then eating a few everytime i put a couple in my drink.

Sorry yeah - that's what I meant, maraschino cherries, not glace. Sold in a jar of sugar solution, and very moreish!

8 of those, a plate with a dollop of French's American mustard and the same of Tommy K and I'm a happy (if slightly disgusted with myself) boy.

Cheap hot dogs must be in a roll, it hides the fine gritty texture of the ground down bones.

Apparently my fondness for dipping hot chips in cold Ambrosia custard is weird.... seems perfectly normal to me, a fabulous combination!
